#### JEE MAINS

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam. The entrance exam is the gateway for the admission to various B.Tech/B.E. programmes offered by 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs. From 2019, JEE Main will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), twice a year in computer-based mode only. Also, JEE Main is the qualifying test for JEE Advanced through which candidates can get admission to 23 IITs. JEE Main 2020 will be held for 2 papers where Paper-I is for B.Tech admissions and Paper-II for B.Arch admissions.

The new changes in JEE Main 2019 allow for candidates to appear twice for the entrance exam in a given year. The better of the two scores will be used for the purpose of ranking as per the regulations laid by the authorities.

ELIGIBILITY:

For appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination – 2020. The candidates should also satisfy themselves about their fulfilling the age limit requirements of the Institutes in which they are desirous of taking admission. The candidates must note that the IITs have an age limit / restriction, which will be published in JEE(Advanced)-2020 Information Brochure.

• Admit Cards of JEE (Main) January 2020 exam will be available on December 6, 2019 while Exam dates for JEE (Main) January 2020 exam will be on 6th-11th January 2020.
• A printed copy of the downloaded admit card should be produced at the time of examination.
